Jo Campbell Farewell Spit Photography
10 years ago, as a mother of two lively young boys, photography offered an immediacy that still appeals to me today. It is an art form that can fit alongside playing dinosaurs and walks in the park, or driving the now teenagers to football and friends. Many a 'Found Abstract' has been discovered with toddler in tow or in transporting and trying to keep up with teenagers.

In the context of 5 days without children on a remote sand spit in Golden Bay, it can also be an art form that invites hours of careful pondering and selection.
