Farewell Spit Artist Residency 2011 - Photographs
These photographs were taken over a period of 5 days out at Farewell Spit, the most Westerly point of the top of New Zealand's South Island. They capture some of the constant movement and the interplay of light and shadow that was so present on this 27km long sand spit. The Artist Statement gives more background into Jo's fascination with images of 'unravelling'. Back to Photography Gallery
